What is astrology?+−
Astrology reads the Sun, Moon and planets at a moment in time. On Harihar Vedic that moment is a birth date, time and place, or a daily sign. The chart is a guide for questions, not a fixed script for the future.
How do I find my sign?+−
In Western astrology the Sun sign follows the birth date. In Vedic astrology the Moon sign and the ascendant matter as well, and those need the birth time and place. Enter them on the kundli form.
Are astrology predictions exact?+−
A chart shows tendencies and timing, not a guaranteed event. If Prokerala rejects a request, the page shows that error and does not invent a chart.
How do I open a chart here?+−
Open Free Kundli, enter the name, date, time and place, and submit. The report pages cover basics, prediction, planets, lagna and navamsa, dosha, dasha and remedies. The same details are emailed and are not stored.
What is the difference between Vedic and Western astrology?+−
Vedic charts on this site use the sidereal zodiac and dasha periods. Western charts use the tropical zodiac, houses and aspects. Both are available. They answer different questions, so the two charts will not match line for line.
